TheraLife® Inc. presents unique
Drug Delivery Enhancement System at "Innovative Drug Development"
conference.
New York, May 8th, 2001 - TheraLife® Inc.
today announced that Dr. Lily Yang, CEO and President of
TheraLife® Inc., has been selected to present
at the "Innovative Drug Development 2001" Conference at
the Plaza Hotel, New York City on May 7-8, 2001.
TheraLife® is a botanical drug company with
a drug enhancement technology platform - TheraLife®
Enhancer. This technology is a multi-component system that
combines the benefits of faster, safer delivery with reduced
side effects. Dr. Yang will discuss the scientific basis
for the technology's ability to enhance drug delivery through
increased intracellular metabolism, microcirculation and
the protection of liver and kidney.
Dr. Yang will summarize results from several clinical studies,
including a Stage I clinical trial study using TheraLife®
Eye plus Enhancer for the treatment of dry eyes, allergy
and eye fatigue. "The eye normally has poor circulation
and is difficult for oral medication to reach", Dr. Yang
says. This Stage I clinical results further verify the merits
of the TheraLife® Enhancer. Other clinical
studies for the treatment of wrist strain indicates that
the TheraLife® Wrist plus Enhancer relieved
pain 75% faster.
The TheraLife® Enhancer technology can be
used with a wide variety of ethical drugs, biopharmaceuticals,
botanical drugs and nutraceuticals. TheraLife®
has already developed 5 tissue specific formulas with market
potential of $50 billion for treating medical conditions
of the eye, wrist, neck and shoulder, back, and mental fatigue.
TheraLife® is in the process of extending
this technology platform to cancer, cardiovascular, metabolic,
autoimmune, and infectious diseases.
TheraLife®'s corporate strategy is directed
at forming joint ventures, marketing and distribution, product
development, and licensing partnerships with major industry
players. As such, TheraLife® is focused on
building a strong basis for attracting corporate partnerships
through strong professional advocacy, clinical data and
publications, quality manufacturing, process control and
effective marketing communications.
